The Basics

How far in advance should we book Kiersten?

For major conferences and corporate events, six to twelve months in advance is ideal — not because Kiersten isn't available on shorter timelines, but because the best engagements are ones where there is time to prepare properly. A rushed keynote serves no one.

That said, Kiersten does occasionally accept bookings on shorter notice — four to eight weeks — when schedules align and the engagement is a strong fit. If you have an urgent need, reach out and her team will let you know what's possible.

What is Kiersten's availability?

Kiersten is based in Arizona and travels nationally for engagements. She books keynotes year-round with the exception of limited personal holds around major holidays. The best way to check availability for your specific date is to submit a booking inquiry — her team will respond within one business day.

Does Kiersten speak internationally?

Yes. Kiersten has spoken to international audiences and is available for engagements outside the United States. International bookings may include additional travel considerations — her team will walk you through the details.

Fees & What's Included

What are Kiersten's speaking fees?

Kiersten's fees vary by event type, audience size, and engagement format:

Corporate & Business Events — from $10,000 Women's Leadership & Empowerment Events — from $7,500 Healing, Wellness & Transformation Events — from $7,500 University & Academic Programs — inquire for pricing Nonprofit & Community Organizations — inquire for pricing

All fees are discussed during the initial booking conversation. Kiersten's team will never pressure you — the goal is to find an arrangement that works for both parties and makes the engagement possible.

What does the fee include?

Every engagement fee includes:

A fully prepared and customized keynote address of agreed-upon length — Kiersten does not deliver off-the-shelf talks to every room. She prepares specifically for your audience.

A pre-event planning call with Kiersten personally — not a manager or assistant. Kiersten believes the planning conversation is part of the work, and she shows up for it.

Q&A with your audience, if desired — Kiersten's Q&A sessions are consistently described as one of the highlights of her engagements. She welcomes them and handles them with the same preparation and intentionality as the talk itself.

Post-keynote availability for meet-and-greet, book signing, or informal conversation with attendees — time permitting and by prior arrangement.

A professionally prepared speaker introduction — written specifically for your emcee so that Kiersten is introduced in a way that sets the talk up properly.

One approved promotional bio and headshot package for your event marketing materials.

What is not included in the fee?

Travel, accommodation, and ground transportation are billed separately at cost and arranged in coordination with Kiersten's team. For most domestic engagements this is straightforward. Her team will provide a clear estimate before any agreements are signed — there are no surprise costs.

Does Kiersten have a minimum engagement fee?

Yes. Kiersten's minimum fee for a keynote engagement is $7,500. This reflects the level of preparation, customization, and personal investment she brings to every event — and ensures that the engagements she accepts are ones where she can show up fully and deliver at the highest level.

Are there reduced rates for nonprofits or universities?

Kiersten is committed to making her work accessible to organizations doing important work on limited budgets. Nonprofit and university rates are available and discussed on a case-by-case basis. Reach out and her team will have an honest conversation with you about what's possible.

The Talk Itself

Will Kiersten customize her talk for our specific audience?

Always. This is non-negotiable for Kiersten and one of the things event planners most consistently cite as a differentiator. She does not have a single talk she delivers to every room. Every engagement begins with a planning conversation in which Kiersten learns about your audience — their industry, their challenges, where they are in their own journey, and what you need them to walk away with — and she shapes her content accordingly.

Your audience will never feel like they received a talk that was meant for someone else.

How long is a typical keynote?

Kiersten's keynotes are typically delivered in one of three formats:

45 minutes — the standard conference keynote, without Q&A 60 minutes — keynote plus audience Q&A 90 minutes — extended keynote with integrated Q&A or workshop component

She can work within tighter time constraints if your program requires it. Discuss your specific needs during the booking conversation and she will work with your schedule.

Does Kiersten do workshops or breakout sessions in addition to keynotes?

Yes. Kiersten offers half-day and full-day workshop formats on several of her core topics, and she is available to lead breakout sessions as part of a larger conference program. Workshop pricing is separate from keynote fees and discussed during the booking conversation.

Can Kiersten speak on a panel in addition to — or instead of — delivering a keynote?

Yes, with some considerations. Kiersten is an experienced and engaging panel participant, and she is happy to join panels on topics within her areas of expertise. However, her most powerful work happens when she has a stage to herself and time to take an audience through a complete experience. If budget or programming constraints mean a panel is the right fit, her team will discuss what that looks like.

Will Kiersten take questions from the audience?

Absolutely — and enthusiastically. Q&A is one of Kiersten's strengths. Event planners consistently report that audience members ask more questions during Kiersten's sessions than with almost any other speaker they have hosted. She welcomes every question, handles sensitive topics with care and grace, and never makes an audience member feel uncomfortable for asking something difficult.

If you have specific topics you'd prefer she not address in Q&A — for content sensitivity or programming reasons — simply let her team know in advance and those guardrails will be respected.

Will Kiersten stay after her keynote to meet attendees?

Whenever possible, yes. Kiersten genuinely loves the conversations that happen after she leaves the stage — at the book table, in the hallway, over coffee — and she makes time for them. If your event has specific post-keynote programming that limits her availability, her team will coordinate accordingly.

For healing and survivor-focused events in particular, Kiersten understands that her talk may surface significant emotion for attendees, and she is prepared to be present and available in the room after she speaks for as long as it is helpful.

Logistics & Technical Requirements

What are Kiersten's technical requirements?

Kiersten's technical needs are straightforward and easy to accommodate in virtually any venue:

Audio — A lavalier or headset microphone is strongly preferred. A handheld or podium microphone works if that is all that is available, but Kiersten moves and connects with her audience — a wireless option lets her do that most effectively.

Slides — Kiersten uses a keynote presentation for most engagements. She will provide her slide deck in advance in both Keynote and PowerPoint formats. She will need a confidence monitor or the ability to see her slides from the stage, and a clicker/advancer.

Screen & Projection — A standard projection setup or large-format screen visible to the full audience. For larger venues, Kiersten's team may request a tech walk-through in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Video — If your event is being recorded or live-streamed, please notify Kiersten's team in advance. Kiersten is supportive of recording for internal organizational use. Arrangements for broader distribution are discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Room Setup — Kiersten speaks best in a room where the audience is close and the energy is contained. Theater-style or banquet-style seating both work well. If your venue has an unusually large or spread-out configuration, mention it during the planning call so she can adjust her approach accordingly.

Does Kiersten require a green room or private preparation space?

A quiet space to prepare for thirty minutes before she goes on is appreciated but not required. If your venue has a green room or backstage area, wonderful. If not, she is adaptable and will let you know what she needs.

What should we provide in terms of hospitality?

Water on stage — always. Beyond that, Kiersten is genuinely low-maintenance. Her team will provide any specific preferences or dietary considerations when travel and accommodation are being arranged.

Will Kiersten do a tech check or sound check before the event?

Yes, and she strongly prefers to. Even a brief fifteen-minute walk-through before the audience arrives makes a meaningful difference in how smoothly the talk runs — and Kiersten takes that seriously. Her team will coordinate with your AV and production staff in advance.

Working Together

What does the booking process look like from start to finish?

It is designed to be simple:

Step 1 — Inquiry. Submit a booking inquiry through this site or reach out directly to Kiersten's team. Include your event date, location, audience size, and a brief description of what you're looking for.

Step 2 — Conversation. A member of Kiersten's team will follow up within one business day to confirm availability and schedule a brief initial call.

Step 3 — Proposal. Following the initial call, Kiersten's team will send a clear, itemized proposal including fee, travel considerations, and engagement format.

Step 4 — Agreement. Once the proposal is accepted, a standard speaker agreement is signed and a deposit is collected to hold the date.

Step 5 — Planning Call. Approximately four to six weeks before the event, Kiersten joins a planning call personally to discuss your audience, customize her content, and answer any remaining questions.

Step 6 — The Event. Kiersten arrives prepared, on time, and ready to make your event one your audience remembers.

Will we work directly with Kiersten or with a manager?

Both. Initial logistics — contracts, travel, scheduling — are handled by Kiersten's team to protect your time and hers. But Kiersten participates personally in every planning call, every content conversation, and every decision that affects what happens on stage. You will never feel like you are working with someone who is three degrees removed from the actual speaker.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens. Kiersten's standard speaker agreement includes clear, fair terms for cancellation and rescheduling that protect both parties. Her team will walk you through those terms before any agreement is signed — there are no surprises.

Does Kiersten work with speaker bureaus?

Yes. Kiersten works with select speaker bureaus and is open to bureau-represented engagements. If you are a bureau representative inquiring on behalf of a client, please reach out directly to her team and reference that you are bureau-represented in your inquiry.

Still Have Questions?

If something isn't covered here, Kiersten's team wants to hear from you. No question is too small, too logistical, or too specific. The goal is for you to feel completely confident before you sign anything — because a great event starts with a great planning process.
